24 / 7 Emergency Response – We Answer Anytime

Our Safety Program

Safety at Grid Solutions isn’t a policy binder, it’s the operating standard behind every job we take on.

From PPE requirements to stop-work authority, our safety program is built to protect our technicians and the clients whose operations we work within, every single time.

Safety Solutions at Grid Solutions

Every technician can stop work. No exceptions.

Our Safety Standards

Our safety program is built around recognized standards, including OSHA requirements and NFPA 70E electrical safety practices, applied consistently across every job, not just the ones that feel higher risk. Arc flash safety is a core part of that program: we take incident energy seriously, and our PPE requirements reflect the actual risk at each job site, not a generic minimum.

Every technician carries the authority to stop work the moment something doesn’t meet standard, with no pressure to keep moving and no exceptions for schedule pressure.

That authority is real, not symbolic, it’s backed by leadership, because a safety shortcut anywhere in the process puts everyone at risk, including the client’s own operations. Safety standards only matter if they’re enforced consistently, and that’s exactly how we run our program.

Safety in Every Job

Safety shows up in the details most people don’t think to ask about: pre-job safety briefings, equipment checks before work begins, and a culture where raising a concern is expected, not discouraged. Our technicians go through ongoing safety training, not a one-time onboarding checklist, because standards and equipment change and our practices need to keep up.

Why Grid Solutions

On client sites, that means our team integrates with your existing safety protocols while holding to our own standards, so you’re never getting a lower bar because we’re the outside contractor.

Whether it’s a routine maintenance visit or complex substation work, the same safety discipline applies. It’s not adjusted based on how visible the job is or how much time is on the clock, it’s simply how we work.
